Movie #66- Around the world in 80 days
Based on the novel by Jules Verne, Around the world in 80 days is set in 19th-century Britain and centers on Phileas Fogg (Steve Coogan), as an eccentric inventor, and his efforts to travel around the globe in 80 days to try and win a bet, if he wins he will become Minister of Science, if not he will destroy his lab and never invent anything again. During the trip, he is accompanied by his Chinese valet, Passepartout (Jackie Chan) and a French artist Monique La Roche. Very funny film thanks to Jackie Chan's ability to make his fights funny and Coogan being his usual hilarious self. It's a visually beautiful film where we get to see them travel exotic countries and meet interesting characters along the way. A film to be enjoyed by everyone.
