Movie #55- Abduction
The film is about a teenager, Nathan (Taylor Lautner) who discovers that his mum and dad are not his real parents when he sees his baby picture on a missing persons website when researching a school project with his classmate Karen (Lily Collins). Nathan is then pursued by trained killers and must go on the run, joined by Karen. Along the way he's trying to learn the identity of his real parents.
Now I bought this DVD without seeing, I went through a phase of buying any latest releases which cost me a lot of money and heartache when I discovered I wasted £12 on a DVD that was crap, sadly this is the case with Abduction. The story was hardly thought out, the action sequences were tame and as a "kinda" Twilight fan Lautner's performance was wooden, however the script was so bad I doubt anyone could have saved this sinking ship. As far as the DVD itself goes there was a good 'making of', it's just a shame when a films 'making of' is better than the film itself. The only thing worth watching this film for is to see Taylor Lautner take his top off but even that is so stupid, it was ruined for me.
